Then I thought "Everything will be better when I have a boyfriend."
and then it was "Everything will be great once we're married"
And now it's "Things will be so much better when I have a job".
If there's anything I've learned, it's that I really need to start enjoying the now instead of always looking to the future. Wishing your life by isn't really living.
I've been thinking the same things recently...only more like "things will be so much better once i move out...things will be so much better once i'm in London" etc. I read this today and it had quite the impact:
ReplyDelete“Whatever hour God has blessed you with, take it with grateful hand, nor postpone your joys from year to year, so that in whatever place you have been, you may say that you have lived happily.”
