Moving! again!

If you've followed the blog at all in the past, you'll probably notice that I go through periods of not blogging when there's a lot going on. I know that's really frustrating for those trying to actually keep up with our life, and for that I'm sorry.

Here's why I haven't been posting in the past little bit:

Jeff's new job has been... stressful.
It's up in west jordan, which is about an hour away. So even though Jeff's only working 40 hours a week, he's been gone 50 hours every week - 40 hours working, and 10 hours of driving. yuck.

Nausea Sucks.
Almost every day has involved me throwing up or some version of it... you get the picture. So I'm not doing the greatest in my classes, but meh. It's my last semester anyway. :) (and thank goodness!)

We're moving!
We originally wanted to stay in our current apartment to save some money, but Jeff has been spending so much money on gas alone (300 bucks a month!) that we realized it would be worth it to move closer to his job. Apartment hunting is stressful, but we finally found a place, and this is what it looks like:

FloorPlan - It's a townhome!

The Outside

Living Room
Obviously, these are sample pictures, but we're really excited either way. It'll be an adventure to be somewhere that's not a basement apartment full of bugs and no sunlight. :) yay!

And to all my provo friends - I'm planning on making a trip to Provo once a week for a research project I'm working on at BYU, so let's make sure we stay friends.
AND, our apartment is 10 miles away from the airport, so please please please come visit (ahem, family!)

Provo friends, come stay the night with us, before your flight!

Needless to say, the hardest part about moving is leaving our friends in Provo, but we're really optimistic that we'll still see everyone.

Jordan Landing, this amazing giant shopping center
Here are some other things we love about the apartment:
- Heated pool!
- Fenced-in Backyard!
- Washer/Dryer
- Dog Park
- 2 bedroom/2 bath
- No more BYU wards! Yay, real-life family wards!
- 1 block away from Jordan Landing
- Having a house to decorate at Christmas!
- Full-sized windows!
- Day Care on-site!
-Jeff's work is 3 miles away
- Really big bedrooms
- Knowing that we'll be there for a full year. :)

Thanks for sharing in our excitement. It really feels like after a couple years of chaos that things are finally falling into place. And it feels really good. :)

PS - if you happen to be feeling strong on august 13th, we would love a few strapping men and women to come help us load up a u-haul. And of course, you'll be paid in pizza.

  4. Dang! We're moving on the same day. I wish we could come help out. :( We seriously need to do a game night or dinner or something before we both leave though.

Sorry about the nausea. It's a beautiful day when you wake up and think, "Hey wait a second! I'm hungry!" :D
