our (lack of) money
It's no secret that Jeff and I are poor (despite the college degree), and it becomes really hard not to be jealous of friends we see who are married and are still getting help from their parents. Especially when they show up with cute new clothes...
But the truth is, I would hate relying on our parents for money. I really appreciate being poor. We appreciate so much more. I love how much we love our apartment because we've lived in trash before, and I love how exciting Christmas is this year because we'll have more than 50 bucks to spend on each other.
and I can only imagine that we'll continue to feel more and more grateful for what we have as time goes on.
