I've heard a few stories of babies lovingly learning to reach up for their mother's faces while being nursed. Some play with their mothers' ears, a few of my nephews reached for their mom's chin, just to make sure she's still there.
So I was pretty excited when maddie started learning to reach. I was hoping she would lovingly put her hand on my face to make sure I was still there.
and reach for me, she does. she puts her hand up to my face and shoves her fist into my mouth any chance she gets. she thinks it's the funniest thing in the world. Not exactly what I was thinking of... but I wouldn't expect anything less from her. She definitely has her own personality.
Paisley used to do that too! Not the loving soft touches but fingers up the nose and fists in the mouth. Now she's 19 months old and feisty as ever. Be warned momma bear. Next thing you know she will be dissecting you belly button. I know this from experience.
ReplyDeletehahaha! I'm glad to hear that paisley did that, too! crazy girls. :)
