Fourth of July - scroll to the bottom to see a really adorable video

Not many know this about me, but I LOVE fourth of July. My dad instilled in me a love for all things that light on fire and explode from a young age. Last year, however, was the worst. We had just moved here and Missouri was in a middle of a drought so most towns cancelled their fireworks show. I didn't have a single sparkler to show maddie. So this year, I was determined to make up for it. I can honestly say, we did everything possible to celebrate fourth of july: 

naked party in the backyard

skinny dipping

got all dressed up

slept during a picnic

went flying

ate way too much

made cupcakes

ate popcorn and watched a movie

had an awesome spot for the fireworks show

Finally - the fireworks show. I mention that it was all worth it because we had to keep maddie up way past her bedtime and she was pretty fussy, but seeing her face through it all made it all worth it.
